India is one of the largest producers of Ground Nuts in the world. It accounts for around 25% of the oilseed production of the country. Peanuts from India are better known as HPS Groundnut Kernels. Indian ground nuts are available in different varieties: Bolds or Runners, Javas or Spanish have a rich nutty flavor, sweet taste, crunchy texture and a relatively longer shelf life. Groundnut is used to manufacture oil, confectioneries and peanut butter.
