Nowadays hypromellose (HPMC) has been extensively and successfully developed into two-piece capsules for use in the pharmaceutical and nutritional industries. 2.Advantage: important benefits of hpmc capsule include a moisture content of approximately 4%-6% making it an excellent container for moisture-sensitive drugs. HPMC vegetable capsules are also less prone to brittleness.Additionally, hypromellose does not bind to itself,therefore,dissolution delays due to crosslinking are not an issue. Hypromellose is a plant-derived material and,therefore, meets the need for certain religious,cultural, and dietary restrictions. |
