Tantalum block can be used as Tantalum block target in the magnetic filed. After precision machining of tantalum block, it can be used as Tantalum case wristwatch. Tantulum is very interesting because it is hypoallergenic, almost as heavy as gold (yet much harder) and is as resistant as glass against corrosion and acids. Tantalum is a very dark metal that gets purplish color over time and feels warm to the touch, contrary to steel that feels cold.

2. ASTM B 708 -05 UNS R05400, unalloyed tantalum, powder-metallurgy consolidation.
