Carbon Fiber Rods

Carbon Fiber rod is made of carbon fiber composite pre-immersed in styrene-based polyester resin, by heating curing and stretching (twisting and flexing) . In the manufacturing process, various profiles can be produced through different molds, such as: different specifications of carbon fiber round tubes, different specifications of square tubes, different specifications of sheet materials, and other profiles. In the production process, the carbon fiber rods can also package 3K for surface for beautification.

Features:

1.High strength : the strength of carbon fiber rod is 6- 12 times than steel, and it can reach more than 3000mpa.

2.Low density, light weight, the density is less than a quarter of the steel.

Carbon fiber rods is high strength, long service life, corrosion resistance, light weight, low density.  It is also dimensional stability, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, small Coefficient of thermal expansion, self lubrication and energy absorption and seismic performance. It has high specific Modulus, fatigue resistance, creep resistance, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and so on.

It is widely used in kites, model aircraft, light support, PC equipment shaft, etching machine,medical equipment, sports equipment and other mechanical equipment.

The disadvantage is that it has electrical conductivity (Ωcm as 1.5x10-3) ,  special attention should be paid to electricity protection when using it.
